Thank you Lord!
I'm a mommy's girl through and through -- well, Nanay's girl in my case. She's definitely someone I can't imagine living life without. We argue a lot about this and that but I really, really love her and she's always there for me no matter what. So when she told me through SMS this morning that she fell down last Saturday night because she didn't see the dog in the doorway and she stepped on it, my heart heart was filled with fear and then with relief. Fear because a lot of bad things could've happened to her and then relief because she's okay. I wasn't able to help myself from crying. I also whispered a prayer of thanks because I know that the Lord is always watching and protecting her. We were texting yesterday afternoon so I'm wondering why she didn't tell me about it. Maybe because we were talking about my "heart problems" yesterday and she didn't want me to worry. When I say heart problems, it's really a...
